Play directly into the mountains. Very tight fairways with many mature trees. You must place most of your shots to have a chance to beat this beautiful course. Very well maintained with Bermuda greens. One of the Bob Hope Desert Classic courses. Rolling fairways, beautiful greens in a natural desert setting. Many parallel fairways, but plenty of mounding to seperate them. It features undulating fairways, heavy bunkering, several water hazards.
The Golf Resort has installed a state-of-the-art Global Positioning
System (GPS) in their golf carts. The Parview GPS system offers a yardage system
and scoring right in the carts. Additionally, it offers two-way communication
from cart to pro shop,
including storm warnings, and real time cart tracking as an added safety
feature. The system also shows hole and green overviews, exact distancing
to fairway hazards and landmarks and pin placement. Very cool indeed.
