Inside Out


This play, Inside Out, the inside or slot receiver will catch a quick out pass. This play is run when teams blitz or when the offense needs a couple of yard for the first down. The field is spread out with four receivers and this allows for the quarterback to throw to anyone that is open.

Miami Out

Quarterback #12 is in the Shotgun formation and gets the snap. He has five receivers in the pattern. Three of the receivers, x-y-z all go deep. The tight end #81 has lined up outside his normal place on the line. He runs up the field then out to the sideline. #12 reads the defense and see him open. # 81 catches the ball for a short gain.
