Tight End Fly

This play, Tight End Fly, is designed for the Tight End to catch a fly pass down the middle of the field. The tight end usually is not a receiver the defense expects to go deep. The coaches on the offense see that they get a good match up with a linebacker covering the tight end on this play. Usually the strong safety is covering the tight end, but in this formation the strong safety has to cover another receiver. This is how offensive coaches try to get certain matchups on receivers. With the slower linebacker covering the tight end, this play will go for a touchdown!
