Carolina Panthers - Speed Sweep

Overview: Carolina likes to dictate the game with their tenacious defense. However, their young and talented offense is able to strike at any time. With Biakabutuka (#21) in the back field, the Panthers will look to use his speed with quick hitting plays that allow him to get to the corner.

	Pict. 1 - With Biakabutuka as the single back, the Panthers line up with a strong right formation. On the cadence, Ernie Mills (#89) goes in motion. As the ball is hiked, left tackle, Mathew Campbell pulls to the weak side, allowing Mills to crack down on the exposed weak end. As Collins (#12) pitches the ball to Biakabutuka, the offensive line allows the defensive line to penetrate as they release to block the middle backers. The quick hitting sweep develops quickly and before the defensive line can get into the back field, Biakabutuka will be to the corner. If he does get to the corner with Campbell as his escort, Biakabutuka has the speed to break some game breakers.
